Practice Makes Perfect: The Teleprompter

The teleprompter is a monitor that is used in all broadcast stations to help anchors and reporters read scripts on camera.  This is a skill that requires a great deal of practice to seem natural and sound more like a professional.

When your not in the studio or if you are not yet working in the studio; consider these online resources that are helpful :

cueprompter.

You can simply ad your scripts to these sites and practice as often as you need to .  Another resource that I uncovered was through the job site  TVjobs.com

It allows users to view television stations that archive their news scripts. This is a perfect way to get real world news reading practice.
